Work-family conflict is a significant stressor that negatively affects family satisfaction, mental health, and relationship quality (Symoens & Bracke, 2015; Carroll, 2013; Grzywacz & Bass, 2003; Dönmez et al., 2023; Burch, 2019; Yucel & Latshaw, 2018).
High work-family conflict can reduce resilience, but its negative effects can be buffered by constructive communication and strong family support (Huaman et al., 2023; Carroll, 2013; Grzywacz & Bass, 2003; Dönmez et al., 2023).
Resilient individuals and families are better able to manage work-family conflict, maintaining lower levels of stress and higher happiness (Grzywacz & Bass, 2003; Dönmez et al., 2023).
